What marketing activity we audit
Where the growth comes from and where to find the funds for it. Something real you can put in front of a board.
What's earning its keep. What's carried on out of habit. Where the next pound goes.
Whether your marketing is working in real terms, not vanity metrics.
Who you need in house, who you buy in, and what each should cost. Job specs, interviews and the first ninety days if you want them.
Why anyone picks you over the other four quotes. Cheap to fix. Almost always ignored.
Every business is broken in its own way. Tell us what's going on and we'll say whether we can help.

We've run the business, not just advised on one
Our founder - Jade Arnell built Rebellion Marketing from nothing to £1.7M and sold it in January 2025 and has built Four more businesses since.
Loads of people can tell you what good marketing looks like. Fewer have had to pay wages out of it.
What you're buying is the decision made properly the first time. Which channels, what budget, who does it, in what order, and what you stop doing to pay for it. That's the expensive part to get wrong and the cheapest part to get right.
How it works
Forty five minutes, free. What the business does, what the marketing does, and what's prompted the call.
The channels, the spend, the site, the data, the team, the work. Two weeks of proper digging.
What's wrong, what it's costing, what to fix first. Plain English. Yours to keep either way.
Decisions made with you. The work goes to whoever should be doing it, in house or bought in, and gets briefed properly.
Before you sign anything, or when a supplier tells you something that sounds wrong. This is the bit people use most.
What you'll gain
What to bring to us
You don't need a tidy brief.
Bring us the mess and we'll sort through it.
The plan for the year
Where the money goes, what you stop doing to fund it, and what you expect back.
An agency that isn't landing
Whether it's them, the brief or the market. We'll tell you which, and what to do about it.
A hire you're about to make
What the role should be, what it should cost, and whether you need it at all.
A quote that feels steep
A website, a rebrand, a retainer. A second opinion before you sign it.
A channel that's stopped working
Worked out properly before you throw more money at it.
Numbers for the board
What to show them, what it means, and what to say when somebody pushes back.
A feeling something's off
No particular problem. Just a sense it should be working better than it is. Often the most useful conversation.
Loved by students and businesses alike
The first time I've had training that felt relevant to my day to day work. I left every session with something I could use immediately.
We put two of our team through the programme and saw a noticeable shift in their confidence and decision making within weeks.
If you want your team to grow in a way that actually shows up in performance, this is a solid investment.

Frequently asked questions
How much does marketing consultancy cost?
From £2,500 plus VAT a month, no minimum term. Before that there's a paid audit, which is a one off cost and gives you a written plan whether you carry on or not. The first call is free.
What does a marketing consultant actually do?
Works out what your marketing should be doing, in what order, and at what cost. That means looking properly at what's happening now, agreeing a plan, and then making sure it gets done by the right people.
Do you deliver the marketing as well?
Sometimes. If it's something we're properly good at and it makes sense for us to do it, we'll quote. If somebody else would do it better, we'll say so and find them. The advice comes first either way, and it doesn't change based on who ends up doing the work.
Why do I have to pay for the audit?
Two weeks of real work. Free audits are sales documents with the conclusion written before anyone looked. You get a plan at the end, and it's yours whether you carry on or not.
Who is marketing consultancy for?
Businesses spending money on marketing with nobody senior directing it. Usually five to fifty staff, often with a marketing manager or a small team who've been left to work it out alone.
Is there a minimum term?
No. It's monthly and you can stop when the work's done. Most stay about six months, because that's how long it takes to fix anything and see it land.
Who will I be working with?
Whoever fits your business. You get matched to someone who knows your sector or your particular problem, not whoever's free that week.
How is this different from hiring an agency?
An agency starts with what it sells. We start with what your business needs, which is sometimes an agency, sometimes a hire, and sometimes stopping something you're already paying for. We'll tell you when somebody else is better placed than us, because getting that wrong costs you more than it costs us.
Can you help us hire a marketing team?
Yes. Working out what the roles should be, what they should cost, writing the specs, sitting in on interviews, and getting the first ninety days right. Building the team properly is often cheaper than buying the work in year after year.
Can you work with our existing agency or freelancer?
Yes, and often that's the job. Sometimes the supplier is fine and the brief was rubbish. We'll tell you which.
